Kevin Heaton

.
.
Wind Chimes

a baby’s breath
cannot purify
winds of compromise,
nor indemnify
wantonness,
but applied to chimes
in innocence;
may pierce the pall
of sorrow, and bestow
welcome solace
upon the sound
of tears.
